Title: Question about CAPP 52-18 - Attachment 1
Post by: Bobble on July 22, 2010, 01:37:14 PM
Just a quick question:

I looked thru the CAP Knowledgebase and searched CapTalk, but couldn't find an answer.  Regarding Attachment 1 ("Cadet Physical Fitness Test Waiver Request") for CAPP 52-18, I was curious as to why the use of the attachment is restricted to just certain levels of Award CPFT tests (Mitchell/Earhart/Eaker/Spaatz), as stated at the bottom of the text, and not used across the board whenever a cadet is seeking a full or partial waiver from participating in CPFT for any achievement(s)/award(s).

Thanks for your help.

Because the "Keystone" Awards are processed and approved at National, they must have the physician's certification to approve the award. If the cadet in question is in Physical categories 2-4, the Squadron will already have that information on file, and will merely have to copy the form and attach to the applicable CAPF 52-x form.
