Title: US Navy STEM Program for Teenagers
Post by: RADIOMAN015 on July 01, 2010, 03:38:28 AM
The United States Naval Academy offers a summer program which emphasizes science, technology, engineering, & mathematics.

See:  http://www.usna.edu/admissions/stem.html  Grades 8 to 12.

We had a cadet attend this program.  Of course he is very smart individual academically.  This has nothing to do with CAP, but may be a very good program for those cadets interested in technology, without having to wear a CAP uniform or any uniform whatsoever.

My understanding is the Navy funds the entire stay, the participants must pay for their own transportation to Annapolis MD.

Looks like there's an email address on the bottom of that web page. I think it is held each year.  Pehaps in September send an email or recheck the webpage for the CY 2011 program application procedures.
