Title: Amazing 13 Year old kid
Post by: Major Lord on June 05, 2010, 12:32:17 AM
I was amazed at what this 13 year old kid is up to! He is doing high altitude balloon flights, rockets, building a trebuchet, and a bunch of other cool projects. I hope the Squadron nearest Ontario, CA makes a good attempt to recruit him! http://brendenprojects.com/index.htm

Best wishes to Brenden.
Along the same line, a book written by two 18 year olds
DO HARD THINGS, a rebellion against low expectations in youth.
I have not read the book, but heard interviews with the authors.
Impressive.
Also, I feel a lot of our cadets have this same drive.  How many punks
do you see at the mall or Wally World and then see your cadets on
meeting night.  No comparison, some cadets/youth are more mature and better people beyond their years. ;) :D

Be nice to them.  You may end up working for them before you know it.  This generation is fundamentally entrepreneurial.
