I know the joke is they misspelled motorcycle, but I'd like to just point out that I can probably fit my Saturn in one of those spots. I stand before you a broken man.

Could be worse man. I have two 2005 Hyundai accents!
Of course they are both paid for but still. At least I still have 1992 Chevy S-10 ...

Well where do you want the poor guy to park? The other sign said all other spaces for for Atomobiles. I'm surprised someone didn't insist on one of those "Motercycle" spaces being a handicapped one.

What can I say? It's an AETC base.

Dang, George, for a second I thought you were serious and I had to go look at the picture again to see if there was a sign...I've got to get better (been sick for a few days now).

I would figure that if AF1 is on an AFB, it would be in a hanger. But then again, I'm always amazed when I learn that something that makes sense to me is actually the other way around for a reason that makes even more sense than what I originally thought :D

Umm... it is a logistics training base, tankers traning base and ABM training base. Yes, those squadrons are  training squadrons (TRS) and yes, those squadrons do fall under AETC. As far as the base goes... it is Materiel, not AETC. I stand corrected.

Not a Logistics training base. Not a Tanker training base. Not a ABM training base. That's three strikes, yur out!

Tinker is the home to the Oklahoma Air Logistics Center, the 552d AWACS Wing (ACC) and the 513th Air Refueling Wing (AFRC).

The base is owned by AFMC and ACC and AFRC are tenants.

Tanker training is conducted at Altus AFB, OK. ABM training happens at Tyndal AFB, FL. Logistics training happens at a couple of bases, Lackland AFB, TX, Sheppard AFB, TX and Keesler AFB, MS.

Just because its a "training squadron" doesn't mean it belongs to AETC.

No, but that's what a student at one of those training classes just told me. ABM student.

ABM training starts at Tyndall, but then they separate into two weapons platforms. The E-3 training is conducted at Tinker. The E-8 students go to Robins.

Tinker used to have an associate unit that trained KC-10 crews before they moved (nearby) to Altus. The Air Logistics Center trains for logistics (secondary training site, not tech school).

Every base conducts continuation training, but they don't belong to AETC...

Nope, each KC-10 base trains their own crews and maintenance people.
Training is part of the support contract for the KC-10.
I'm a former KC-10 Boom Operator, so I might know just a little bit about this.
