Has anyone ever used a graphic calculator for ES work? If so how good has it worked for you?
What would you be graphing?
I can't even think of anything you would need it for.
Quick conversions.
As well as setting up programs to help with weight & balance, etc.
There are some good Excel based weight and balance applications out there that can be copied and customized for your aircraft.

And run on on a smartphone, as can many graphic calculator applications these days.

I find Hilton Software's "Wing X" program to be an excellent program for flight calculations. It has a great graphical W&B application and you can download an extensive aircraft database. There are also weather download apps, etc.
I can't say for missions, but I use the ASA aviation computer (electronic E6B) which works wonders for me (darn the aluminum E6B in turbulence!).
When you said graphic calculator, I was thinking like a TI-83 or TI-89.
For those of us in the math sector, TI-89 all the way!!!

I was so I'd have somthing I can use in the air and on the ground and I can customize it for both air & ground.
The point of confusion here centers around the word "graphic", which most of us have equated to "graphing". There aren't too many pilot/MO/MS computations/calculations that require the ability to generate graphs.
OTOH, if you are talking about a "programmable" calculator, that changes the picture greatly. Then, anything you are comfortable using and programming will probably get the job done. Personally, I have a TI-85 that's about 15 years olde.
Ti-85? Haven't seen one in years. Check out the Ti-89's!! They integrate and differentiate!! Hooah, now that's cool!!
I just picked up the TI-89 it can do lat/long computations.
edit scrath that it's a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition. I was closely looking at the TI-89 as well.

The GPS on my phone does those. >:D

Yeah, but can that thing do this:

Ti-89 all the way!!
Check out this bad boy:

[Tim Taylor grunts follow] >:D
Ahhh! A rip in space-time!
Say what? It's just a cowboy hat with some weird dimensions, that's all.... ;)

Eh. My TI-55 would do that.

I've been thinking about getting that for mine. How good does it work?

What is it and how does it work?
MY HP48-GX did all that stuff when the TI-83/85/86/89 was just a gleam in the engineer's eye...
