Sparky, I thought for sure you'd be the first to post.  I don't even know you and I know you.   ;D

Didn't I mention something about your tie-tack being too high in another picture of you in service dress or something?

Great pic bro, but so predictable.

That second button tie tack rule always gets me too.  Then again, someone has to tackle me to the ground and beat on me for a bit to get me to wear a tie in the first place....  Great pic there Major Corrales.

When I first joined CAP, a US Air Force Officer friend of mine told me that the tie tack/tie bar was supposed to make a line with the nametage and ribbons.  I wore it like that until I came here and was told otherwise.

Is that a CAP issued M-60/M-240B (sorry pic isn't all that clear)?  If so, I want one sooooo bad.....

Ok, maybe not Army green, but it doesn't look like AF Blue. . . might be my screen . . . but it looks teal/baby blue or something along those lines. . .

Likely just an optical illusion based on the darker blue in the flag behind it. I assure you that that shirt is CAP/USAF Kosher.

Great picture there.  Love the bars.  Love the flightsuit.  You shouldn't burn too bad in the fire with that NOMEX on.  Great job.

Idea behind this is simple. Post a picture of yourself in your sharpest looking uniform. (Please no golf shirts)
Winner chosen by popular vote after a suitable period of time.

My wife happens to think I look "good" in my grey slacks and polo t-shirt, thank you very much!

BTW...just so some know for those that "hate" the polo, for a newbie like me it is the fastest, cheapest way to get into a uniform. I have yet have the time or money to buy much of anything else.

isuhawkeye

thats the problem.  You may never get a real CAP uniform, and you will spend the rest of your career explaining why the polo is just fine.
