Corporate Service Dress

I just received the nametag/crest and "pocket protector" device from Vanguard, and I'm attempting to make it work with a blazer with a sewn left pocket.  Does anyone have any good techniques to attach this device? 

I tried to pin the crest through the plastic sleeve into the jacket, but the pins are not nearly long enough.

If you are going to pit it to the blazer.....just take it out of the pocket protector.  You don't have to have the protector.  It was just built to make it easier for blazer wearers.
