I'm looking for a good unit "Welcome to CAP" letter as well as a "Letter to Parents" (this is CAP, here's what to expect, and why we may call at 2am to drive to the middle of nowhere). Anyone have a letter or two you're willing to share and have stolen liberally from (I hate to reinvent the wheel, after all).
Thanks,
Do a search for Letter to parents Stonewall posted some excellent ones...
I'll do the work for you...

CAP Parent's Homepage (http://www.cap.gov/visitors/members/cadet_programs/index.cfm?nodeID=6741&audienceID=4)
A copy of the Parent's Guide (http://www.cap.gov/documents/Parent_Guide__Jan_06.pdf)
A quick brief on your meeting schedule, expectations of arrival and departure times, what their cadet should be doing in their off-time (practicing PT, studying for tests, preparing their uniform, etc.).
Information on how to get their uniforms and supplies set up (i/e: write a check for $35 and we'll order it all, or here's links to The Hock and Vanguard - this is what you need, or see the squadron supply officer, etc.)
Contact information for questions. Contact information for emergencies.
A hearty wish for them to succeed and take a lot from our valuable program. :)
Precisely what I was looking for. Thought I'd remembered this thread, but for the life of me couldn't find it.
Thanks!
