Title: Cadet Duty Positions
Post by: glm705 on January 29, 2019, 06:53:39 PM
Are there any duty positions in eServices that would be useful to assign to a Cadet PAO?

Umm, Cadet Public Affairs Officer? Or NCO if not an officer.

Hi Cadet.

Public Affairs is indeed your duty position field. You're not currently showing an assignment in eServices in the PA field (even though you may have been told that you were so assigned for Cobb Squadron).

Since you're currently a C/SSgt, you're not (yet) qualified to be a PAO, but you are for a PA NCO. Getting more than a verbal order is important to you since it shows up in your permanent eServices record, where your achievements may eventually be considered when you apply for Wing, Region, or National activities and scholarships.

Therefore, I suggest that you go up the chain properly, and speak with your Cadet Commander to submit a formal request for MAJ Veduccio to update you in eServices if he so approves.

Very Respectfully,
Spam

Could our Deputy Comm. for Cadets do this or does it have to go to the Sq. Commander?

Depends if he has delegated the eservices permissions... I can't recall if its an automatic via duty assignment. In any case the action goes from you through your cadet chain of command so go ahead and pass up that request. It may take some time (the unit just deployed folks with other units for a mission yesterday on top of a big SAREX) so be patient. I.e. sont expect this by Thu night.
