Is it allowed to give the cadet commander of a squadron a special cord or "marker"
I have seen this done by other squadrons,

Some wings have an approved supplement which allows a squadron cadet commander to wear a shoulder cord; you will need to check with your wing to see if there is one. You cannot, however, just throw on any old shoulder cord just because you hold x duty position.

You could also have your squadron commander submit a formal request through official channels to authorize it for your unit. It would need to be approved by the wing commander.
