Title: Alternate Safety Briefing
Post by: SARDOC on March 05, 2012, 12:04:25 AM
I recall reading somewhere that the CAP will accept the Online AOPA safety Training.  Can anybody provide a reference and/or describe the process?  Is it all electronic or do they need to print it and have it entered manually?  Any information would be appreciated.  Thanks

More trouble than it's worth.

By the time you take it, print, upload, and have someone enter it, you'd be done with three CAP online briefs.

I agree....It's not for me though.  It does allow some of the pilots in my unit who fly for a living to kill two birds with one stone though.  They have to complete an aviation related safety topic as part of their employment.  The CAP briefs don't count for their needs but the FAA and AOPA will.
