Title: Command Service Ribbon
Post by: Holding Pattern on February 28, 2019, 12:29:04 AM
I'm auditing my squadron for prior awards that no one has gotten around to awarding. My audit has found that none of my prior squadron commanders have the CSR in their e-services record. That award should be listed there, yes?

Just checking before I start flooding my chain of command with paperwork.

The CSR is not awarded through eServices, it's only recorded via the historical ribbon
area of the member's Personnel file, and needs to be requested, with any substantiation, by the
member.

I would argue this is another of the "self-actualizing" ribbons as the service itself would be / is recorded in eServices
(at least for anything in the last 10 years or so).

Edit: Looking at the module just now, there is no allowance for the ribbon's multiple levels, nor for that matter
any of the other decs with variations.

So, Eclipse - those go up the chain via Form 2a?

I am going through the same process in my squadron as our new Admin Officer and PDO.

Thanks!

Yes = though some wings have supps that allow for lower-level approvals of service ribbons.
