I was notified by email that I am an alternate for the NCSA I applied for (AFSUPT Laughlin), I am curious as to how often do alternates get moved to primary. I imagine it is on a case to case basis and probably varies by NCSA, but I am a bit confused as this is my first time applying for one.
Thanks for any responses,
If a primary backs out or doesn't pay on time then the slot is given to an alternate. That happens for all NCSAs to some degree.
The day after the deadline for paperwork and payments, they will start offering openings to the alternates.
