Does any one have a current slide deck to train members on General ES?  The one listed on the Operations section of NHQ goes back to 2004 (yes, recent is not it).  I just do not want to go through the 2004 to make sure it is "current" with today's regs and correct the issues.  But if I need to, I guess I will.

That is the updated version.

Yea.  I was hoping someone would have a better one available.

Gotta love the fast and rapid pace of the NHQ ES to getting items updated.

Has GES changed?  If not, what needs to be updated?

The absolute basics not really.  It makes references to CAPF101Ts, for instance.  So it needs some updating.  Anyway, not a big deal.

As long as the pictures on the slides don't show CAP members in fatigues and smurf suits, consider it current.
Serving since 1987.

Went through the 2004 slide deck with a bit more detail:

Here are the necessary changes:
References to 101Ts
No reference to SQTRs
Reference to 911T missions with WG/CC & LO/LNCO approval
Reference to Air or Ground Radiological Monitor
CAPT 116 ES Questionnaire passing score
No reference to NOC coordination
References to old CAP regulations
No reference to WMIRS
Old website to Online CAPT 116 (ntc.cap.af.mil)

Some of those seem fairly important.

Agreed. Definitely needs a rev. That's important stuff.

So, volunteers!

... who has the bandwidth to offer to update the brief for NHQ? I'm sure that if someone used the correct/current .PPT template, and annotated the update sources, Moose would be thankful to put it into a team review and post it for use. Now is someone's chance to help all of CAP. They probably will use "your" slides for the next 16 years!

Working on it now.  Well for the most part done.  Just need a few more changes.
