So I am wondering now that I am half way through the WLC course in the Army (formally called PLDC) is there any thing in CAP that this would take its place of training?  It is a NCO Academy but just wondering if it will do me any good on the CAP side of the house.

Check CAPR 50-17. It lists what miltary PME courses will substitute for CAP courses.

Yes it does, but not much.

I always found it to be funny that ROTC covers for RSC while, SOS also covers for RSC along with even OBC.  It just seems that ROTC is on a different plane than OBC which would be on different plane than SOS as far as military education.

Cecil DP

It can replace AFIADL CAP Officers Course.

Will WLC/PLDC count for the Squadron Leadership Course?  I am going senior NCO so I am curious what all it will do.

If you mean Squadron Leadership School, no. SLS & CLC (Corporate Learning Course) do not have military PME equivelancies. You have to take them to progress to Level II/III.

Check CAPR 50-17 for the list of what CAP requirements can be met by military PME. Or ask your PDO.
