I'm trying to finish my Level III professional Development requirements in time for me to attend the Region Staff College in Mid 2011.  I need to attend another conference to complete the requirements.  With the new year coming and trying to look at multiple wing websites, most of which are not updated and/or they haven't announced a date for Upcoming Conferences.  There is no central location to look up conference dates.  Can those of you in the know, please post the wing/region level conferences that have been announced and where it's located.  Thanks

Larry Mangum

ALWG Conference is April 11, 12 and 13.

It is past my window...but I still appreciate it.  I am willing to travel because I have family spread out all over the place and this would give me an excuse to see some family in California.

How far is this in "ATL Driving Min" from Newnan?

I got sent a CAP calendar for 2010 that had the dates of quite a few wing conferences (didn't have mine) in it.  Don't know if they'll do it again for 2011.

Being from South GA, I am not sure. Last year, heading to the conference (same place) driving up I-75 around 10 AM. Took me a little over an hour to get past ATL.

Does anyone have any info on the Louisiana, Oklahoma, or New Mexico conferences? LAWG has it on their schedule for the 18th-20th of March, but I can't find any more info. I can't find any info on OK or NM.

QuoteWHAT-
2011 Wing Conference

WHEN-
Friday, 18 Feb 2010 through Sunday, 20 Feb 2010

WHERE-
Best Western Seven Seas Hotel and Conference Center
Mandan, ND

HOW-
Face to Face Interaction, Discussion, and Instruction

WHY-
-Build Wing Espirit De Corps
-Prepare for Future Missions
-Assist our Members in Their Growth and Development as CAP Members
-Recognize the Accomplishments of Our Members and Those Who Have Supported Us We have some preliminary things lined up so far which will help make this an exciting event. Examples include:
    • The National Commander, Major General Amy Courter, has tentatively planned to attend
    • Mr Greg Wilz, Deputy Director of the ND Department of Emergency Services and the Director of the ND Division of Homeland Security, will be on hand to help us prepare for our upcoming spring flood response
    • from the ND League of Cities will speak to our Cadets about the Teen Citizen Emergency Response Team, or TeenCERT, program
    • We will have a special focus at this conference.... helping our newer Senior Members better "plug in" to CAP. While we will have plenty for our Cadets and "Seasoned" Seniors to participate in, we wanted to ensure we had a significant focus on helping our newer Seniors accelerate their integration into and participation in CAP
