Expect to see some major changes in the IG Complaints procedures in the future. Wing IG's will no longer conduct these investigations specific to a complaint in their wing, instead complaints will be supervised and assigned to one of a group of about 30 IG investigators spread throughout the US. Generally the IG investigator will not be the IG for that wing the complaint was lodged in. Also the IG specialty track is going to be split into "Inspections" & "Investigations" separate tracks.
