Title: robo geo camera offset question
Post by: starshippe on May 13, 2013, 12:50:14 AM
i've been working with the camera offset function of robo geo, just for familiarization. it simply does not work like i would expect that it should.
if i put in a camera offset, say 50 seconds, it says that theres a track log loaded, and asks me if i want to modify it. when i answer yes, nothing seems to happen. the next time i load a track log, the offset is applied, but its applied to the gps track log, and not to the picture time. seems odd that the gps track log would be the file that was modified, when the camera time was what was in error. the time that ends up on the picture is the incorrect picture time.
can anyone shed any light on this for me?

edit: btw i found a page on the etrex 30 gps that shows time to the second. happy camper.

thanks,
bill

i'm still not happy with the way the track log time is modified, but i tried editing the exif data time, and found that i can get the time stamp to read what i want it to.
