I changed my CAPTalk name. Really, a simple process.

Really....I was thinking about doing that...what's involved?

Choose carefully. I couldn't settle on one and Mike took that away from me, thinking I was a troll. I went through a bunch of names.

Prefer that you do not change your display name.  Note that it does not change your account/login name, and it also does not change the display name associated with previously quoted posts... which I find particularly annoying as a moderator.

If asked, I'll change it back. Otherwise, I just wanted to be more open about who I am. Those who wanted, already knew, but this also keeps me on a straight arrow in regards to my own posting. :)

The downside to everyone knowing you, if you are on Wing Staff, is holding your tongue. Because you correct somebody here and the next thing you know the Commander of Petticoat Junction Squadron is calling the Wing King on you.   8)

The chances of me ever being at wing...about as high as the lack of caring I'll have about someone complaining about something put online.

Famous last words. You become a Squadron Commander and do a professional job at it and next thing you know you will be Wing Staff because no one knows how to heard cats like you do   8)

But then...goes back to the initial position. If I get there in the prescribed manner, one would assume my word would stand over someone complaining because of captalk.

Sukoshi huh? In Japanese you can say "thank you" four different ways. The way I translated your statement I would be offended. Others might take it with a grain of salt, no pun intended.
