The Department of the Air Force and the United States Space Force finalized the new service's organizational structure.
➖ Space Operations Command, SpOC
➖ Space Training and Readiness Command, STARCOM
➖ Space Systems Command, SSC

Also, the organizational structure we know of as "wings" are going to be called "deltas" in USSF.

Makes sense. The delta and double-delta wing is common for space vehicles.

But in Space/Aviation speak as used by NASA and Company, isn't a "delta" a defect?

No, it's a "variation of a variable" or a "fine increment".

It's also what will eventually be the insignia on every uniform shirt
as the Space Force evolves into the United Earth Space Probe Agency and
then Starfleet.
