Maj Bonnie Frazier was a long-time member of the 96th Composite Squadron in Stow, Ohio.

Bonnie L. Frazier, age 70, of Kent, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at the Akron City Hospital Palliative Care Unit.

Bonnie was born May 25, 1948 in Akron, to James and Virginia (Moore) Griffin. Bonnie was a member of the Tallmadge First Congregational Church. She served as a Fire/EMS Dispatcher for Brimfield. She was an Instructor and First Aid Coverage Coordinator for the American Red Cross. Bonnie attained the rank of Major in the Civil Air Patrol and served as Stow Squadron 096 Leader. She was an active member of the Eagles serving as club secretary for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Dana Frazier; daughters, Toni (Aaron Shaffer) Bowen of Mogadore and Shannon

(Timothy) Paulus of Diamond; grandchildren,

Rebecca (Tom) Campbell and Adam Fox; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Elly Mae and Shelby Campbell; brothers, James and Mike Griffin; sisters,

Sandy Haydu and Debbie Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Virginia (Moore) Griffin; granddaughter, Amanda McClellan; and son-in-law, Daniel "Bo" Bowen.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date at Rockton Lodge #316. Memorials may be made to Summa Palliative Care and Hospice Services, 444 N. Main Street, Akron, OH 44310. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
