Nobody gives a [mess] about Flight Officers.

Former and current FO's, unite!

But no, really, maybe we can use this thread to explore the world of the FO, how we can utilize them best in the organization, etc etc.

Anyway, I do think there can be a good use for FOs, just not sure exactly where, what and how.

Do you have a "Don't care either way" option?  Regardless, thats my opinion.

Frack'n polls.

Mister Fedor is hereby demoted to Flight Officer Third Class Lower Half. i.e. much less than FO.

What?!?  :o

Cadets and Flight Officers are Brother and Sister Airmen.   I was never a Flight Officer, but I am offended by this post.

Power corrupts.  It is a stupid poll/thread though, Hence why I had to vote twice.

Before there were Flight Officers, there were Warrant Officers.

I moved from cadet captain to WO at start of my junior year in college....while I went to school relatively near squadron, could not get to all the meetings anymore.....which apparently was not a drawback to being a staff weenie amongst the senior types, as long as your work got done.

Back then most seniors (over 21 as well as under) were WOs or Chief WOs before getting their butterbars.

If you weren't a pilot, however, no one paid an awful lot of attention to a warrant (or Chief warrant) officer).

In that respect, I guess we were exactly like the FOs today!
