Hey everyone...

Just to let you all know I'll be out for a little over a week.  I'm leaving tonight for a cruise with my buddies in the Caribbean.  About 30 of my friends and I are all going on a western carribbean cruise from Miami, to Cozumel (Mexico), Grand Caymen, and Ocho Rios (Jamaica), and back.  Should be interesting, but I doubt I'll have the time to check into email or CAPTalk.   ;)

I'll be sure to share the photos and stories when I get back.   ;D

You need to get your priorities squared away, Lieutenant.   ;)

Sounds to me like he does have his priorities squared away!  I wish I was going!

Sounds like the itinerary from a Royal Carribean cruise I went on a few years back.  If it is, you'll have a blast.  Be sure to climb the waterfall in Ocho Rios.  That was pretty cool from what I remember.

Good Lord don't let my wife read this over my shoulder!

We did a similiar cruise in the mid-90's aboard the MS Leeward sailed under the Norweigen Cruise Lines banner.

Fell in love with Key West.  Part of the whole Parrot Head Experience.

(Do I hear steel drums and Jimmy Buffet in the background?)

Have fun.  Stay Safe.

Thanks for the well wishing and kind comments!   The Caribbean was quite nice.  Plenty of sun, fun, and rum.  ;)  (among other things)

A few tame photos from the trip...

A couple more... and of course, the ubiquitious mess dress shot.  For the formal night on the ship, I could have shelled out some cash for a tux rental, or just bring mess dress.  Of course, I brought the mess dress.  Much to my surprise, there were three USAFA cadets and two USAF officers all in USAF mess dress (and oddly, no other branches) so I blended right in.   :)

Naughty Naughty Mike... :P  Although I prefer them myself, no Stand-Up wing collar shirts for the mess dress.
But glad you had a good time. Welcome back.
