I am looking for a good power-point presentation on the proper wear of uniforms. If anyone has one they are willing to let me use, I would greatly appreciate it. Proper credit will be given.
Thanks in advance.
I've got one I can send you... PM me with your email address and I'll get it out to you this weekend. Internet access is spotty here in paradise out in the middle of B.F. Nowhere, aka Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands!
Chuck -
Did I get your most current presentations for the CAP Patches website? I can't remember, and if I did they were on a misplaced thumb drive :(

Not sure, but I can send that to you this weekend - internet access is spotty here on Kwaj; we have limited high speed at the rec center but only - egad - dial-up in our rooms! RUMINT says we might get high speed soon - ain't holding my breath!
Can I get a copy of your uniform Power Point as well?
Thank you.
I, too, would like a copy.
TIA
I'd appreciate a copy too please, if it's not too much trouble. Thanks!

Hey Alpha,
If you could get it to at least one person, they could post it to the forum or send it out to everyone else. We understand the bandwidth limitation though...
Do you know anyone else with access to it? Contacting that person and requesting that they send it to "x" might be easier... "X" can then post it here or somewhere else with a link....
Can't upload .ppt files... unless you zip it first. If you want the file PM Chuck, no need to post "Me too." here.
Chuck's going to e-mail me a copy over the weekend, and I'll get it up in the CAP Patches website's Document Library...
Keep an eye on http://www.incountry.us/cappatches/ for it.

I will try to but my memory might not make that happen... Please let us know in this thread when you get it posted....
Thanks in advance for your assistance with this.
Chuck, is there anyone from Addison that I could get it from and post for you?
I can put it on my ftp site if that would help the cause.

As far as I know I don't think anyone else as Addison has a copy of the PPT. But I will be posting a copy of it on Ace's CAPPatches website this weekend.
Chuck, did I tell you I know Ace from the days that I terrorized MNWG as a Cadet?
Terror doesn't BEGIN to describe it.
I will post here once the file is read for download from the website.
The presentation is up on the CAP Patches website now...
http://www.incountry.us/cappatches/library.html
It's under the category "Articles and Presentations," and is entitled "Raising the bar: Proper Wear of the CAP Uniform".
Thanks, Chuck!
Sir, "the page cannot be found..."
It's broke Ace.
Probably jet lag from the 7000 mile trip.

I'm sure they will fix it in short order, but in the mean time, here is how to make the 'broken link' work so you can download the (excellent!) presentation:
Click on the link at the InCountry.us site, and you should get a new page/tab with a Page Not Found error, and the link showing in the Address Bar at the top of the browser window.
Click in the Address Bar and change the end of the link from ".pdf" to ".ppt" and then either press Enter or click the appropriate button to go to the address in the Address Bar. The file should then load properly.
Basically, when they added the file to the InCountry.us site, they listed it and setup the link as if it were a PDF file, when it is in fact a PPT file. Just changing the last two letters of the link will let it work and download just fine.
Again, I'm sure they will have it fixed shortly. Thanks to them for hosting such a wonderful site!

Sent a copy to Ace Browning for his CAP Patches website... give him a couple of days to post it for download.
I tried to post a link, but since the file name contains [ and ], I can't get it to work.
Apparently we can't post links with brackets in them, but you can click on the "SELECT" below, hit copy (cmd-c), and then paste it into your web browser's address bar (click on the bar, then press cmd-v):
http://www.incountry.us/cappatches/library/art-pres/UniformWear[MAY09].ppt
Very sorry about the mix up. The link on the website now works correctly.
Here's the dirrect URL again...
