Thanks for finding CAWG's.  FLWG's is probably one of the best, but their site behaves terribly in Firefox.
Don't feel bad. It doesn't do too hot in IE either.

Believe it or not, it's improved considerably over the last few months.

It kind of looks like it has been in a train wreck.  It worked OK on Firefox before, but it seems to have exploded...You broke it, didn't you?

Anyone have these two with the tips on the shield?  They seem to be cut off...

I've got about 500 graphics in the collection so far.  I'm still collecting.  I should have them up for everyone to use soon.

If anyone wants webspace to put their collection online, I have about 90 of my 100 gigs still available. Let me know and I can set you up with a password and either a subdirectory or sub-domain. We could probably set it up through my photo-hosting software for that matter as an album.

Thanks.  I'm going to look into what software is best to power this.  I was thinking Gallery, but I'm not sure.

I always liked the simplicity of Plogger for photo galleries.  It could probably be easily customized for this type of application.

I'm sure you are looking for "art" and computer renderings, but if any of the scanned images on the CAP Patches website are useful - feel free to copy them, modify them, vector them, or whatever you like!

I shall have to look.  Shouldn't you be working on the New CAP Order marketing plan?

Excellent - thanks.  I think we should at least have the current patch of each wing, even if they are scanned images.

The collection grows!

I know about FLWG, but I couldn't find one on CAWG's site.  If only National had a decent collection...
Here's CAWG--> http://www.cawgcadets.org/resources/graphics.php
And FLWG--> http://flwg.us/html/graphics.html

It was pointed out to me that, as pretty as they are, the FLWG's ground insignia do not use the correct wings.

I've used them myself because they are so nicely rendered, but if someone is building a repository the goal should be 100% correct on all graphics.  These things have a tendency to become defacto "official".

I've got a few NCSA logos I did one night when I was bored.  Feel free to use them if they'll help.

Yes it did.  I took down all this stuff that was eating up space and bandwidth.  I had a bunch of stuff like experimental online mission management tools, equipment reservation, a photo gallery (few GBs alone), etc.  It took up a lot of space and was being unused.  I DID see the folder for this a while ago on one of my external HDDs.  I'm not sure which one.  I've been sorting my files recently.  I'll try to find it.

There might be some interesting stuff. Maybe see if it fits on DVDs and sell them at cost? (time, DVD, shipping etc).

If you had 500+ graphics, a lot of those might be good to use for people developing unit websites or other things like business cards/flyers, etc, etc.

JC004

I know people were using this when I finished it.  I wonder where I published the URL and why I didn't do it here.

I did this three years ago, so I don't know what I still have.

DakRadz

I would be very interested if all this could be found. Not a whole lot of know-how, but I could wade my way through it to spruce up the unit web page.

If space/bandwidth is an issue at all Grand Forks Composite Squadron can lend a hand.
