Rev. John L. Ellis - September 22, 1935 – February 3, 2018, of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on February 3, 2018. John was born in Memphis, TN on September 22, 1935 to parents Ernest and Marie Ellis. He was the fourth child, joining Mary Elizabeth, Doris, and Bill. John married his high school sweetheart, Phyllis on August 10, 1957. To this marriage were born Ann, John, and Nancy.
John was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his daughter, Ann. John is survived by his wife Phyllis, his children John (Robin Ruiz) Ellis, and Nancy (Paul) Bowman. He also leaves his grandchildren Sydney Ellis, Matthew (Jolene) Bowman, and Ryan (Amanda Adamson) Bowman. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Abbi, Donovan and McCauley.
