Title: Wikiversity
Post by: Capt Rivera on September 27, 2007, 12:16:32 AM
Wikiversity... http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Wikiversity:Main_Page (http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Wikiversity:Main_Page)
has a school of aviation http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/School:Aviation (http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/School:Aviation)

It is in need of content... I thought it would be a good place to put some effort into... Contributing knowledge as part of our aerospace education mission of course helps fulfill that mission but it is also good PR from those interested in aviation. It also helps expand a resource that CAP members could be using...

what do you think?

Doesn't seem to have grown much since I stumbled into it last year.   :(

No it does not... thats where my idea came from. What if the major growth that could easily happen came from CAP Aerospace education? I'm thinking we should see the lack of growth as an opportunity rather then a time waster... [if this was a very active and full university, additional info would probably go unnoticed....

At the very least the section on radio navigation which would include info on the ELT could have many references to who uses the ELT signal, .... CAP!... etc...

might be nice if we have people who have the time to dedicate to it.  These sites are nice, but mostly lack any completeness.  It is a shame.

yea I agree... by posting this, I was hoping a few people would consider investing some time... even if it was just one post/edit it MIGHT help the overall quality and if it was something that could reference CAP.. [ELT area] that would be helpful....
