Tapes too wide for pockets

I've got some smaller size ABU's that have small pockets and the "Civil Air Patrol" tape is too wide to fit properly.  I'm thinking about just sewing them on with the overlap?  Anyone else run into this?

NIN

Yep, all the time. I fold them under with enough gap that I'm not sewing over the letter and drive on.

I'm assuming you mean the the "C" and "L" are hanging off the ends of the pocket

Eclipse

I don't see what choice you'd have but to make them fit the best they can.

Thanks.  Yeah the "C" and "L" hang over the edge of the pocket.  I thought maybe Vanguard QC (oxymoron I know) slipped on these, but if you are all seeing this I guess the tape is just universally too wide on the smaller sizes.

What extra fabric?

Doesn't sound like he has extra. He doesn't have enough pocket.

Extra fabric extending past the pocket. Fold it under, problem solved.

I don't think reducing the CAP Tape to "IVIL AIR PATRO" is a good solution.

Haha, yea I don't think that'd work well.

Just sew them all on like you normally would, had to do the same thing for my brother. He hasn't gotten in trouble for it, no reason for him too.

"IVIL AIR PATRO"  is Latin. It means "Give me endless uniform discussions or give me death."
