Conrad Rodgers, Sr. was born to Shirley Jenkins McIntosh and Preston Rodgers, Sr. on June 28, 1966. He was 56 years old when he passed away on April 12, 2023. He was a native of Mobile, Alabama, and a resident of Pflugerville Texas.

Conrad Rodgers, Sr. had a heart to serve his country and others. He was baptized as a young child and gave his life to Christ as a young adult. He loved to worship the Lord by playing songs on his guitar. His hobbies were walking nature trails, working on electronics, and watching movies. He loved to travel, fly planes and spend time with his family.

Conrad Rodgers passed away with his wife, Kala Pauline Rodgers, and preceded his father, Preston Rodgers, Sr.

In 2016, Conrad Rodgers met Kala whom he married in 2023. From the moment they met they were inseparable. Kala and Conrad were active members of Civil Air Patrol in Austin. A proud volunteer, Captain Kala Rodgers served as Deputy Commander, Professional Development Officer, and Recruiter for the Texas 352 squadron. Conrad was a Major Mission Pilot, Instructor Pilot, Check Pilot and Squadron Deputy Commander. They had their marriage ceremony in Fiji in February, 2023.

To cherish his memory, he leaves behind one daughter Lasaundria Rodgers of Pflugerville, TX, two sons, Conrad Rodgers Jr of Austin, TX, and Kendrick Rodgers (Amber) of Houston, TX, his mother, Shirley Jenkins McIntosh of Mobile, AL, his two stepsons, Wiley Schuler and Noah Schuler of Austin, TX, two brothers, Preston Rodgers Jr (Catrina) of Lawrenceville, GA, and Clarence Jenkins of Mobile, AL, two sisters, Sharon York (Zachary) of Hutto, TX, and Vickie Austin (William) who lives in Mobile, AL, his grandchildren, Drake Martin, King Rodgers, Jayden Rodgers, Dan, Abby, and Raechel, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Conrad Rodgers, Sr. served in the United States Army from January 28, 1986, to December 31, 2013 (OIF 10-11). Conrad retired as a CW4 warrant officer after serving 28 years in the military. He served as an Instructor pilot while in the military. He was a part of the First Command. Conrad Rodgers Sr. achieved two Master's Degrees in Aeronautical Science and Aviation Systems. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Space Institute and Emery Riddle Aeronautical University. In 2022, he started his own business, Clarity Aviation LLC. His specialty was ATP Multi-Engine land, CFI and CFII Helicopter, Airplane Single Engine land, Aviation Systems/flight Research/ Flight safety: Aviation Consulting and Training. His recent employers were Paradigm and Pilots Choice. He was a part of the Civil Air Patrol and volunteered with FEMA.
