Jeff Irwin Weinstein passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 78.

He was born in Portland on Nov. 20, 1942, the eldest son of William and Sarah Weinstein. Jeff and his siblings grew up on Caleb Street in Portland. He graduated from Deering High School in 1961 and went on to attend and graduate from the University of Maine with a bachelor's in economics.

After graduation, he honorably served in the Air National Guard and the Civil Air Patrol. Additionally, he established multiple communication and maritime based businesses in the Greater Portland area.

He married Mary P. Dunn in 1984 and their son, David, was born in 1987.

Jeff enjoyed being an active HAM radio operator, boating on Casco Bay, flying his airplane, and participating in local political activities. Furthermore, he treasured his time as a husband and father in his beloved state of Maine.

He was predeceased by his younger brother, Harvey Weinstein of Portland.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Weinstein of Yarmouth; their son, David Weinstein and his wife Stacey of Williamsburg, Va., his son Nyk Fry of Garden City, Idaho; and his sisters, Linda Brown of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Elaine Cohen of The Villages, Fla.
