Capt. Francis C. Guillory
Capitol City Composite Squadron
Louisiana Wing

Francis "Boo" Guillory passed away on May 4, 2021 at the age of 68. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Nancy S. Guillory; beloved daughters, Angie Crochet (Glenn) and Kelli Freeman (Lance); precious granddaughters, Addison and Ava Crochet, and Ainsley and Brynn Freeman; brother, Warren Guillory (Jeanette); sister, Cynthia Collins (Charlie); and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cilton "CJ" and Gertrude Dupuis Guillory. Francis was a graduate of Redemptorist High School and LSU, completing his bachelor's degree in computer science. He went on to work as a computer programmer with BASF and retired after many years of service. Francis was a kind man with a servant's heart. He was very active and involved in many different organizations. He was a captain in the Civil Air Patrol, member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, volunteer for Red Cross, board member of Wymar Credit Union, and Marshall Coordinator for the St. Patrick's Day parade, just to name a few. He ushered mass every Sunday at Most Blessed Sacrament Church and was an active member of The Men's Club. To know Francis was to call him a friend. In his "free time" he enjoyed flying planes, watching LSU sports, and spending time with his family. He adored his four granddaughters and was always present for every one of their events.
