Such a shame. I can't imagine working so hard on a project and then watch it literally burst into flames. Hopefully they'll be able to determine the cause.
I find it interesting that a number of news agencies reported this as a NASA rocket, when in fact it was a private rocket with a NASA contracted payload. This would be like calling a private trucking company transporting military tanks part of the Army.

Orbital Sciences has already said that there was a catostrophic failure in the engines right after launch which is why the rocket lost power and came back to earth.
SWAG - fuel line failure between fuel pump and engine itself. But that's
MY opinion.
