Hey, i am new to the site i love avation and the military and I would like to be apart of the CAP team as a cadet. Im 14 and have type 1 diabetes would this affect me on joining. If not how do I join? Thanks alot.

No. That should have no bearing on your membership, assuming it is properly managed.

The first step in joining is to find a unit in your area and attend some meetings.

Thanks I have tried emaling them but no replies. I will just attened the next metting.

If there is a contact number call ahead if you can. than they can give an idea of what is scheduled for that meeting. In the unlikely case of there being a change of venue or something special going on,you'll be prepared for it.

Do you know where the closest cadet or composite squadron is? If not here is a link to the national website... http://capmembers.com/ and there is a button that says, "I want to join." Click that and it will give you information on units in your area. What state do you live in? We have a representation from almost all the states here if I am not mistaken, and we could help you out.
