I know that Wisconsin DMV has started issuing CAP license plates to members, but are there any other states that have them?

Here' is Virginia's plate.  I used to have one when I lived there.

Serving since 1987.

Wow...that is painfully drab.

They've been around for at least 15 years, they could use some updating for sure.

I used to have the original issue VA CAP license plate; numbers began with 3-xxx for VA Wing, 9-xxx for NATCAP Wing members residing in VA. Mine was 9-030.

Will you guys need new license plates when the USAF Auxiliary Shield is no longer authorized?

Considering how much trouble it is to get org plates approved?  Not bloody likely.

New York has them as well.

Probably.  They'll likely switch to just the red prop on the white triangle and blue circle.  Or, if we are unbelievably lucky, the CAP seal.  But I know there are regulations against that.

Wow!  Probably a long time, if ever, we'll get those in Washington.  We just got Veteran's plates approved last year.

Wow, if it took the DMV that long to get you veterans plates, I dont even want to know what its like to stand in their lines!

I have to say from all the pics posted, I like WI the best.  It looks like you guys are limited to a 3 or 4 digit number.  In WI they have 6 digits and you can personalize them for an extra $15

Texas' is kinda drab...

The real rub is that they issued Square Dancer plates before Veteran's...  No, I'm not making this up.  Anyway, back to the topic....

I think we should have four cars with CAP plates driving in formation, each one from a different state....

...sorry, needed to lighten things up a bit...

The Wisconsin Plates will not be changing.
