Title: Firefox 4 spell check and CT
Post by: davidsinn on June 11, 2011, 04:31:36 AM
For some odd reason my built-in stock FF4 spell checker will notify me that I have a mispelled word in a post but will not give me the list of spelling suggestions. It only happens on CT and not any of the other boards I post on. Any ideas?

OK, when you right click, keep your cursor off the word. Then it works. XP + FF 4.0.1.

I have United States English Spellchecker 5.0.1 (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/united-states-english-spellche/) installed.  Have to right-click the misspelled word for suggestions.

It's getting weirder. I get a suggestion if I click below the word but not when I click on the word. It's only on this board not on any others I'm a member of. I'll try installing what you have. I've got the same configuration as SarDragon if it matters.

I have the same thing! FF4.+.

But not always. I just spelled thing as "thang" and hovering over AND around the word works.

Just a minute ago, I misspelled civilian in another thread, and it didn't work at all...
