F-15 Down Off Oregon Coast

This afternoon a Air National Guard F-15 crashed during a training exercise approximately 35 miles off the Oregon Coast. 

The pilot cannot be located.  Coast Guard air and surface assets from Astoria and North Bend, Oregon are participating.

The body of Maj. Gregory D. Young was recovered by the Coast Guard around 1800 yesterday.
