CAP pilots and aircrews from Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and Virginia have volunteered their time and aircraft to capture aerial photographs of the affected towns and villages, while also providing airborne communication support as needed.

Here in Alabama, we have had air crews flying ADIS sorties five out of the last 7 days. Ground Teams have deployed and conducted Health and Welfare checks on the elderly; handed out FEMA leaflets and delivered meals to shut-ins.  We continue to man the CAP desk at the state EMA and may soon be providing PIO's to augment the JIC in Tuscaloosa.
