I have seen very few old CAP planes, only 3! What Happened to all the old aircraft, they don't just disappear. I know of two in Dayton and one for sale on barnstormers but other than that, it is very hard to find these things.

This website contains newer aircraft, I mean the type of aircraft used during world war 2. Like Piper Cubs and Luscombes.
Long recycled into something else, landfilled, or on display somewhere.
A lot of those aircraft were POAs and sold as such - they may be out there repainted, etc.
One sits on a pedestal:

That is a cool aircraft, what type is it?
