Can anyone explain the CAP distinctive white shirt/blue pants combo.

I'm just getting back into this after 13+ years and I'm lost with all the new CAP uniforms and I haven't seen an updated M39-1.

It's being phased out at the end of next year, so you don't have to worry too much about familiarizing yourself with it. :)

Welcome back!

Hmmmm.

That uniform just got the axe at the NEC meeting.

Go here for the latest 39-1, and here, here, and here for the Interim Change Letters. Now, ignore everything you read about the Corporate Service Uniform, and work with the remaining information. Welcome to CAP in the 21st century.

I'm beginning to think we should just go to jeans and sweatshirt during the winter, and shorts and Hawaiian shirt for the summer.    :P

I already wear a version of the HPU: 'Kwajalein BDUs' (Beach Dress Utilities) - walking or board shorts, polo shirt or t-shirt with flip flops, sandals or athletic shoes. Ball cap or boonie hat optional.  ;D
