Senior Pilot Wings Query

There was some talk at one of the recent national meetings about imposing a minimum number of CAP flight hours for some of the higher pilot ratings so that may come into play in the future if it was/will be approved.

This proposal was soundly defeated.  From the discussions held, it seems it won't be back on the table for some time.

Which is unfortunate in some ways. It's the only area where we give credit recognized with a badge for something unrelated to and not in service of CAP. I know I don't get to count as observer hours when I ride the window seat on a commercial flight. We weren't even taking that away though, we were recognizing people that do work for us - imagine that.
