Hi All,

Recently I just earned my CFI and I was looking at CAPR 35-5 for a promotion to Capt. The chart (pg 14) reads that "CFI/CFII" is required for the promotion; does this mean both CFI & CFII are required or is it an either/or kind of thing?

Thanks

Either or.

Having those credentials makes you eligible, however if you aren't using that rating to
benefit CAP, your CC may not be inclined to grant the promotion, and in this case that
would also require Group approval.
