Wait, it's back? I thought this thing died in it's infancy.

Wow, that's an expensive organization to join considering there are no obvious benefits to doing so.

How much? More than $65?

$300 one-time certification fee, and $195/yr dues. :o

Ugh. Again? Corps is spelled with an "s".....

And that money goes to what? Kind of steep to join an uncertified and unrecognized rump militia.

This does not appear to have any connection to HWSRN.

The phone number listed is also cross-referenced on a number of other private organizations
with business links to LEA and HLS-related business associations, all of which have similar websites, and appear to be
equally "excited" about Servicemarks, Trademarks, and Copyrights.

So I shouldn't order the $350 wallet badge?

Edited: (hit post too early to make the point):
Last active time period for Tony's org appears to be 2015, so concur that this probably isn't the same group. The name appears highly similar though, and one wonders if the missing "s" was intentional for some obscure legal reason.

About your "Porque?" and "Margarine" jokes, I remembered the following.

If you want to pronounce "Mantequilla" or "Butter" in correct Spanish, just say in English "Meant to Kill Ya."
Squadron Safety Officer
Squadron Communication Officer
Squadron Emergency Services Officer

Gross. They mentioned us.
http://www.usranger.com/history/

The one thing they didn't mention on their lengthy history of the use of the name "ranger" is history of their organization itself. In fact, there's practically no information at all regarding their organization on their website.

This appears to be a scam to get people to pay lots of money for a "prestigious membership certificate suitable for framing", a "US RANGER ID card to identify themselves quickly to Incident Commander and others during times of emergency", and the "right to obtain a US RANGER emblem and credential case to show their designation "on site" during time of emergency." Because nothing spells credibility like a "cool" badge one can show in times of emergency.

I have at least three squadron members who would jump on this in an instant...

Let me guess, they have a full lighting package in their POVs...

How did you know? And have the largest 72 hour pack known to mankind... though they only have an MRO rating.
