CAP IRS filing 990 question

Insomnia sucks. It makes you dig into things like IRS documents in hunt of sleep.

Reading the most recent IRS form 990 filed by CAP, when I got to the Part 8, line 1b is where membership dues are supposed to be.

That line is blank.

Am I misunderstanding what is supposed to go in that line, or shouldn't the answer to that be at least a couple million dollars?

I'll read the whole thing before I ask any more questions about it.

Units haven't filed 990s for a number of years. NHQ files forms that cover the whole organization.

You must really be sleep deprived to care about something like this.

Personally, I think 14a is probably where the organizaiton will experience the most growth in FY17.

There is no 14a, there is a 16 a though

The 2016 IRS F990 is 12 pages long and contains at least two (2) "14a"s. I think the
second one is where CAP has the most growth potential.
