Check Pilot/Tow Pilot

I just noticed this on Facebook. Is it real or photoshopped?

Gadzooks.

Just pulled up a random POH for a 182 and it looks like the max bank angle is 60 degrees. Hard to tell from the pic but it sure looks like more than 60 to me.

Lordmonar, any input?

Interesting photo.  Does the online meta data provide any clues to when it was taken, put up, or ???

Eclipse

Clearly shopp'ed - look at the artifact around the aircraft.

Not to mention the flags are purple and the shadows on the aircraft are in the wrong direction.

Have a look at the shadows again. From the ground the Sun appears to be in the right sky and that angle would leave a small shadow on the left horizontal stabilizer.

The artifacts are from reducing the resolution from the original. The flags show the same distortions.

The sun is bright from the right, which means the entire top surfaces of the aircraft would be in bright sun, and certainly the left (lower side)
would not be in shadow.

The artifactting around the flags are likely due to them being poorly / improperly masked and the sky being replaced.

At that perceived height, the plane would be a lot larger in perspective.

The only other thing I was thinking was that if this is taken on a tarmac or runway, and it was a hard turn on takeoff, it's plausible,
though certainly not a good idea.

Photo shopped.

We don't always follow all of the rules in 60-1.....but we certainly don't document them and post them on face book!  :)  Give us a bit of credit!

C'mon, there is nothing wrong with lining up every Cadet in the wing and then doing some Bud Holland aerobatics over them...

This is what happens when you spend five weeks flying within 55nm of Groom Lake 😜

Five down, five to go!

Holding Pattern

Now you just need to put the triangle thingy on the UFO.

The Greys would crash it themselves out of shame...

Dear God No...

Since it is the Nevada Wing that we are talking about, I am sure it is a legitimate aircraft from Area 51.
