Buckle Up Buckaroo

Hey team,      so I've gotten some really mixed information from my squadron staff, but I'd really appreciate if there are some regulations to go with this... I'm an 18-year-old cadet with a third class medical and a student pilot certificate. I've been looking for a CAP Airplane Instructor (CFI) willing to teach me with a CAP Airplane for over a year now and finally just found someone in a squadron across town from me that is on board. Will I be able to do my training with this instructor even though I am not chartered in their squadron? I really don't want to have to transfer my paperwork because I have strong ties with my home squadron... Thanks! :)

Not a problem at all, as long as you keep your commander informed.

+1 This is a very typical situation, as not all units have CFIs, planes, etc.
