Here are templates for all phase III sdas

These are in noooooooo way complete, nor a supplement for actually looking up the information but a tool

(as I know I have always hated formatting my SDAs)

If you want to repost somewhere try not to take too much credit ;)

If you have any comments let me know

the templates work by having you find and replace things, in order to properly format the SDA. Once you do that, all you really need to do is write the SDA and find the appropriate regs and your done.

The generic one is a little more complex but should work all the same except for when you have a position that starts with a vowel than you need to replace "a" with "an" (the ach 10 sda has been pre-fixed)

I made my own, which worked out great- except I turned in two SDAs with categories saying, "Squadron Maintenance Officer."

Nicely done, though, this is a good tool I would use had I not already fixed mine up.

Once again these are just a tool, not a supplement or a replacement

Hey all. I'm new to this, but I've got a quick question. For the achievement 9 Staff Duty Analysis, could ya'll give me some pointers on what," What is the role of the flight commander in managing the suspenses of his staff?" I've looked in all the regs but can't seem to find an answer. Thanks!

coudano

Try looking more carefully at the instructions

"However, in section two of Part A, explain what role a commander has in managing the suspenses required of his or her staff."

Doesn't have to be the flight commander (as in the cadet position of flight commander, who doesn't have much in the way of staff, or suspenses...).  Consider the squadron commander of your local CAP squadron.  There's someone who (hopefully) has some staff members, that have suspenses.  When I was last grading SDA's, I expected my Lieutenants at this point to be able to describe to me what a suspense is (and give an example).  Then explain how the commander makes sure the logistics officer meets logistics suspenses (and so on).

Thanks, Coudano. That clears it up a little bit. I'm pretty confident in my SDA, it was just that one question.

It would seem this topic is no longer relevant and no longer needs to be tacked.

Cadet Officer

Please be aware that this SDA form is no longer used or accepted so don't see these links and fill out there are new standards in place. I personally like the new SDA much better the expectations are better laid out
