See the Field Gear Packages (http://www.thehock.com/shop/?shop=1&cat=39&cart=289295) section at The Hock.
they have no food or knives included(and other such items like toilet paper and tissues)

Thats not the same as having the pack with all the doodads on the equipment list included.
*shrug* Pay another CAP member to do it for you?
I mean, honestly, if you want a pack of field gear you should be able to put it together yourself. Nothing like having a bit of familiarity with the stuff you're using.
yeah iguess but its just the simplicity of it for a backup pack
ok, i can totally see buyin a premade first aid kit as long as you knoow whats in it and how to use it, but jeez, there is NO way to get a 24hr pack premade. Heres what you need
LBE/LCE
"y" style suspenders
pistol belt
m16 ammo pouch x2
2 one-quart canteens
2 canteen covers (with tin cup optional)
a compass pouch or 2
ranger beads
a military issue butt pack (thehock.com ones are cheapo tiwan BS)
now fill it with basic survival items, waterproof everything
have about 100' of 550 paracord on you, and a good lensatic military compass, maybe tritinium one
get a military issue camo poncho, throw it in the butt pack
now fill the rest of the stuff into ammo pouches
secure all ur gear, have no straps hanging off, as well as gear. make sure its adjusted for ur height and width.
cant get that down and dirty course anywer but the army, good luck
rangerjoes.com omahas.com actiongear.com <<<great gear sites

They are for keeping track of pace count
OK i have seen those before, i go the cheap way. I pick up sticks or little rocks along the way.
Yeah a few companies carry them. i think The Hock does
hmmm, thehock? i kinda doubt it. I kno actiongear.com will have some.
