NCSA Alternate

   So after checking eservices I am catergized as an alternate. Does this mean I'm approved by wing and unit?

I believe that everyone is an alternate until the Wing Commander actually signs off on the application and the final slotting is done at national.

  Ya, but then I would be listed as "Awaiting Wing Approval" according to eservices.

If you read the information on the Activity Status page, you'll find this little tidbit:

All approved applications are listed as "Alternate" until the initial slotting takes place in March.
