MEWG Encampment "intensity/setting"

I attended CAWG encampment in 2010, and will be attending MEWG encampment as staff. Just wanted opinions from anyone that has attended MEWG encamp. Within the past few years... What's the theme/setting/tone like? I know CAWG was very stressfully, constructive yelling, and high intensity.
Any thoughts/experiences?
