Note the totally new style of the checklists, and really the entire document in general.

Is that what ALL of the other specialty tracks have coming?

That's not a new style, that's the same style that the safety specialty pamphlet had before. This update just changed the name/numbering of the referenced publications and added some small requirements based on the new regulations.

Looking at the most recent release of the Safety Specialty Track is very frustrating specific to the Academic Requirements.
1) Fairly direct and easy to do.
2) Fairly direct and easy to do.
3) Successful completion of NSC or Possess one of the following equivalences.
a. Associate degree or higher from a regionally-accredited college or university in Aviation Safety, Occupational Safety or Industrial.

****The Board of Certified Safety Professionals lists several Nationally Accredited Schools as Qualified Academic Programs. The QAP allows the graduate to earn the Graduate Safety Practitioner which is the same as the Associate Safety Professional from the BCSP. There is NO difference from the Department of Education Perspective for either the Regionally Accredited School or the Nationally Accredited School. The BCSP does not distinguish between them for the QAP after they have met the requirements as a QAP.
